Competed in 12 meets throughout the season... Earned NCAA Qualifying Standards in the 100 breast (52.42), 200 breast (1:52.10) and the 400 IM (3:45.73)... Began his collegiate career with a victory in the 200 breast (1:55.77) at the SMU Invite... Returned to the winner's circle at The Dual Meet Tournament in the 200 breast (1:54.98) against Georgia and the 200 breast (1:56.33) against Florida State... Recorded four more in duals against Florida and Alabama... Scored 37 points at the SEC Championships, finishing 8th in the 200 breast (1:55.22), 16th in the 100 breast (52.91) and 21st in the 200 IM (1:45.51)... Competed at the NCAA Championships, finishing 32nd in the 200 breast (1:55.24) and 38th in the 100 breast (53.09)... His 1:52.10 in the 200 breast at the Last Chance Invite made him the second-fastest performer in program history and his 52.42 in the 100 breast at the SEC Championships made him the eighth-fastest performer in school history.
