Junior Season (2007-08): Competed in the 100m free in the 2008 United States Olympic Trials... Finished 71st, posting a time of 51.02... Earned two All- America honors at the NCAA Championships in Federal Way, Wash., while competing in the 400 freestyle relay and 200 freestyle relay... Swam the anchor leg (43.71) on the runner-up 400 free relay team (2:49.48)... Swam a 19.57 split as the third leg in Auburn[apos]s preliminary 200 free relay, giving the Tigers the third seed for finals... Individually at NCAA[apos]s, Scheren was 34th in the 50 free (19.95) and 47th in the 100 free (44.63)... At the SEC Championships in Tuscaloosa, Ala., Scheren swam on Auburn[apos]s SEC Champion 400 freestyle relay and 200 freestyle relay... Swam the anchor leg (19.37) on the champion 200 free relay (1:16.92) and the third leg (43.32) on the champion 400 free relay (2:50.49)... Also swam the third leg (1:36.94) on the 800 freestyle relay (6:26.10) that finished third... Individually at SEC[apos]s, he swam to a sixth-place finish in the 100 free (44.20), an eighth-place finish in the 50 free (20.16) and a 19th-place finish in the 200 free (1:39.47).

Sophomore Season (2006-07): Competed in the 50m free and 100m free at the U.S. Senior National Championships... Swam NCAA provisional times in the 50 free and 100 free... Finished the 50 free in 20.06 and the 100 free in 43.77 at the James E. Martin Qualifier... Swam leadoff on the 16th-place 400m free relay team at the U.S. Open.

Freshman Season (2005-06): Swam in the 50m and 100m free[apos]s at the U.S. Senior National Championships.

High School: Attended Robinson Secondary School... Swam with Bill Marlin[apos]s Potomac Marlins... 2004 and 2005 state champion in both the 50 free and 100 free, setting the state record in the 100 free both years... Nine-time All-American... 2004 and 2005 NISCA Swimmer of the Year... Swam anchor for the state champion 200 free and 200 medley relays in 2004 and 400 free relay state champion team in 2005... Was a semifinalist in the 100 free at the 2004 U.S. Open.
