Transfered to Auburn following a two-year stint at Indian River Community College in Ft. Pierce, Fla.... Was a seven-time NJCAA champion in 2008, winning the 50 free, 100 free, 200 free, 200 free relay, 400 free relay, 800 free relay and 400 medley relay... For his efforts, he was named NJCAA Swimmer of the Year... Was announced as a member of the South Africa Olympic Team on April 24, 2008, after swimming a 22.06 in the 50m free at the South African Swimming Championships.
