Freshman Season (2007-08)
Competed in the 200m IM, 200m breast and 100m breast at the NCAA Championships... Swam to a 26th-place finish in the 100 breast (1:02.16), 18th-place finish in the 200 breast (2:13.42) and a 43rd-place finish in the 200 IM (2:01.86)... At the SEC Championships, Wede qualified for the 'A' finals of the 200 breast and 100 breast, and the 'B' finals of the 200 IM... Swam to a third-place finish in the 200 breast (2:13.68), a seventh-place finish in the 100 breast and a 10th-place finish in the 200 IM (2:01.23)... Her swim of 2:13.33 in the 200 breast at Alabama Longcourse Invitational ranks ninth all-time at Auburn.

High School
Competed on the MKK team under coach Magnus Lennartsson and attended Gripenskolan high school... Won the bronze in the 100 and 200 breast at the Swedish Nationals (LCM) in 2006... Took gold in the 100 and 200 breast at the Swedish Nationals in 2005... Was also a finalist in the 200 breast at the European Championships in Vienna, Austria and set the Swedish junior record in the 100m breast with a time of 1:10.12... A semifinalist in the 50 and 200 breast at the European Championships (LCM) in Madrid, Spain in 2004... Finalist in the short course European Championships in the 200 breast.
