Senior Season (2014-15):
Competed in the 100 butterfly, 100 freestyle and 200 IM at the NCAA Championships ... Turned in a personal best time of 43.20 in the 100 free at the NCAA Championships to place 29th overall ... Was 37th in the 100 fly (47.09) and took 44th overall in the 200 IM (1:46.17) ... Made the championship final of the 200 IM at the SEC Championships taking eighth overall at 1:46.22 ... Swam a personal-best time of 1:44.48 in the prelims of the 200 IM at the conference meet ... Earned a 10th-place finish in the 100 fly with a personal record swim of 46.52 ... Also competed in the 200 fly at the SEC meet, finishing 32nd overall (1:48.44) ... Finished the regular season with NCAA 'B' cut times in the 100 free, 100 butterfly, 200 butterfly and 200 IM ... Won the 200 fly in a dual double meet with a 1:47.81.
Junior Season (2013-14):
Made his second appearance at the NCAA Championships, swimming as the second leg on the 400 free relay team to help them reach the championship final, where they would later claim the NCAA title in the event...Was selected as one of four relay alternates for the national meet...Set personal bests in the 100 free (43.50), 200 free (1:35.99), 200 fly (1:45.13) and 200 IM (1:44.74) at the SEC Championships...Earned the second-fastest time of any swimmer in the 200 fly at the SEC Championships at 1:45.13, taking 18th overall at the SEC Championships...Posted third-best time on the team in the 200 free at 1:35.99 to earn an NCAA 'B' cut, finishing 13th overall at the SEC Championships..Held the team's fifth-fastest time in the 100 free at 43.50, which he earned in a time trial at the SEC Championships securing his second 'B' cut...Won the 200 IM in a dual meet at LSU (1:50.88)...Earned first career win in the 100 fly versus South Carolina (44.30), posted a runner-up finish in the 200 fly (1:49.30)...Took fourth in the 200 IM at Florida (1:52.32).
Sophomore Season (2012-13):
Competed in his first NCAA Championships after helping the 800 FR team as the second leg reach the final meet...Swam a split of 1:37.79 for the crew that placed 19th in 6:26.24...Qualifed for NCAAs after swimming with the team for an 'A' cut time of 6:22.22 at the SEC Championships and ended up winning bronze in that event...Garnered four NCAA 'B' cut times during the year including in the 100 free, 200 free, 200 fly and 200 IM...Swam 43.60 in the 100 free as part of winning 400 free relay at the Georgia Fall Invite...It was also the third-fastest 100 free time by Auburn swimmer during the year in either a relay or individually...In the same meet, scored another third-best team time, this one coming in the 200 free (1:35.17) as part of the 800 FR that finished fourth (6:27.40)...Just missed out on another 'B' cut time in the 100 fly after clocking a 48.97 in the dual versus Texas A&M, winning his second of three events on the year...Ended up winning the 200 fly against Texas A&M also after finishing in 1:48.97, his second-fastest time in that event...Fastest 200 fly time came at the Georgia Fall Invite, where he placed tenth (1:47.61) and reached the B-final with not only another 'B' cut time, but also the fourth-fastest time on the team for the year...Swam the second-best 200 IM for Auburn at the SEC Championships, reaching the B-final and placing 11th with a time of 1:45.61, a personal-best...Won the 200 fly against Alabama (1:50.90) as one of his three event wins during the season...Swam the 400 IM against Kentucky, earning a runner-up finish (3:57.14) behind teammate Jordan Jones.
Freshman Season (2011-12)
Joined Auburn in January after signing in the spring of 2011 ... Competed in two dual meets and at SEC Championships ... Had team's fourth-best time in 200 butterfly with a 1:50.48 in his first collegiate dual meet against Texas ... Recorded an NCAA 'B' cut in 200 IM with a 1:48.67 at SEC Championships; finishing 17th with team's fourth-best time of the season ... Earned 10th-place finish in 100 fly at SECs, clocking 47.91 for team's third-best time of season ... Had another NCAA 'B' cut in 100 free with a 44.24 in a time trial at the Bulldog Invitational ... Competed at New Zealand Olympic Trials in March.
High School
Ranked No. 10 overall among all recruits by CollegeSwimming.com ... One of the top recruits out of New Zealand ... Represented New Zealand at 2011 Youth Commonwealth Games, 2011 Australian Age Group and 2010 Trans-Tasman ... Captured gold in 50, 100 and 200 butterfly at 2011 New Zealand Age Group Championships.
