Finished 45th overall in 100m back prelims with a 57.48 to earn a Trials qualifying time ... Finished 24th overall in 200 back finals with a 2:05.52; time of 2:04.58 in prelims was another Trials qualifying mark ... Competed in his first conference meet at the 2011 SEC Championships, swimming exhibition for Auburn ... Picked up a pair of career-best times during the meet in the 500 free (4:28.74) and the 200 back (1:45.06), earning an NCAA `B[apos] cut time in 200 back ... Finished 25th in the 200 free with a time of 1:39.80 ... Swam exhibition in the 500 free, finishing at 4:28.74 ... Top time in 100 back was 49.78 at Georgia Invitational ... Freshman Season (2009-10)
Recorded a trio of season-best times at the2010 Austin Grand Prix ... Finished the 100 back in 51.09, the 200 back in 1:48.93 and the 500 free in 4:34.17 at the meet ... Had a pair of fourth-place finishes at LSU to start the season ... Was fourth in the 1000 free (9:45.98) and in the 500 free (4:44.48) ... Finished third in the 500 free (4:41.18) against Alabama, while finishing fourth in the 200 free (1:42.70) versus the Crimson Tide ... Took fourth in the team[apos]s win at Texas A&M in the 200 back with a time of 1:50.93.

High School
Attend North Central High School and swam for the Washington Township Swim Club ... All-American in the 200 free, 500 free and 100 back ... State runner-up in the 200 free and 500 free ... Swam the anchor leg for the 400 free relay that won the 2009 state title ... Four-time USA Swimming Junior Championships qualifier ... Took 13th in the 200 back at the 2009 junior meet.
