Kile Aukerman was announced as a Graduate Assistant Coach for the Swim and Dive program in the Fall of 2022. Aukerman arrives on the Plains after a successful stint as a Volunteer Assistant and Interim Director of Operations at Ohio State University. While in Columbus, Aukerman helped guide the Buckeyes to a 2022 Women's Big Ten Championship and a top-10 finish at the NCAA Championships for both the Women's and Men's teams. His work aided 12 new program records, 14 First Team All-Americans, 13 Big Ten Champions and 22 NCAA Qualifiers. 

Before landing at Ohio State, Aukerman spent time with the Triangle Aquatic Center in Cary, North Carolina. There he was tasked as the lead age group coach for 9-15 year-olds and the Director of Social Media. While at TAC, Aukerman's athletes broke eight national age group records, won a sectional age group championship in 2019 and 2020, continued TAC's run of eight North Carolina age group champions and coached 2021 Olympian Claire Curzan in the 100 fly.

As a student-athlete, the Cincinnati, Ohio native was a standout at Wright State University. A team captain from 2013-15, he was voted Wright State Athlete of the Year in 2015, named the team's MVP in 2014, was a four-time Horizon League Runner-up and set six program records while with the Raiders.
