Competed in 11 meets throughout the season... Earned NCAA Qualifying Standards in the 100 back (45.27) and 200 back (1:41.55)... Began his collegiate career with a second-place finish in the 200 back (1:42.59) at the SMU Classic... Won the 100 back (46.40) at The Dual Meet Tournament against Florida State... Picked up a pair of second-place finishes in dual meet season in the 100 back against Florida (46.17) and against rival Alabama (46.49)... Scored 14 points at the SEC Championships, finishing 14th in the 200 back (1:41.91) and 24th in the 100 back (47.09)... Also helped the 200 medley relay to a fifth-place finish (1:22.41)... His 45.27 in the 100 back at the NC State Fall Invite made him the sixth-fastest performer in program history.
