An Auburn women’s basketball letterwinner and member of the 2009 SEC Championship team, Reneisha (Hobbs) Bolden is in her eighth season at her alma mater as the Director of Student-Athlete Success for Auburn women’s basketball. She also serves as the team’s liaison for the Champions Assist Club and alumni engagement.

In her role, Bolden serves as the team’s academic liaison, organizes the team’s monthly calendar, assists with onboarding incoming student-athletes and helps coordinate practice schedules and other program-related activities.

Bolden returned to The Plains in June 2019 after spending the previous three years at Alabama State University, where she served as an academic advisor and Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) advisor for the Hornets.

Bolden was a member of the Auburn women’s basketball program as a player from 2006-10. She played in 58 games during the 2006-07 and 2008-09 seasons before serving as a student assistant coach during her senior year. She was also named to the 2010 SEC Community Service Team.

Prior to her time at Alabama State, Bolden spent four years as a Clinical Lead Supervisor at Alabama Mentor, a therapeutic foster care agency. In that role, she utilized her knowledge, leadership and commitment to the six core values of the social work profession. Alabama Mentor specialized in providing therapeutic foster care services to youth of all ages with emotional, behavioral and other complex challenges, as well as support for their families.

A native of Huntsville, Alabama, Bolden graduated from Auburn University in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in social work. She earned her master’s degree in human resource management with a concentration in organizational leadership from Strayer University in 2017.

Bolden and her husband, Courtney Bolden, were married in August 2021 and reside in Auburn. Together, they are a blended family of four beautiful children and are excited to welcome their son in January.
