Competed in eight meets... Jumped 2.16m to finish 12th in high jump at NCAA Outdoors... SEC Outdoor silver medalist in high jump clearing 2.18m... Recorded three event wins at the Tiger Track Classic, FSU Relays, and Crimson Tide Invitational... Cleared PR (2.24m) at FSU Relays. 

2023 Indoor 
Competed in six meets... Jumped 2.15m to finish 14th in high jump at NCAA Indoors... Finished sixth and scored three points at SEC Indoors jumping 2.10m... Won the Vanderbilt Invite clearing season best 2.21m... Named SEC Men’s Field Athelte of the Week once. 

2022 Outdoor
All-SEC Second Team... USTFCCCA First Team All-American... NCAA Outdoors Bronze Medalist... High jumped in nine meets, notching seven top-three appearances... Opened outdoor season with a PR and win at the Tiger Track Classic, clearing 2.22m... Posted three-straight meet wins at the Joe Walker Invite, War Eagle Invite and Crimson Tide Invite... Earned a new PR of 2.23m in a silver-medal finish at the Torrin Lawrence Memorial... Won silver at SEC Outdoors with a top jump of 2.21m... Punched first career ticket to NCAA Outdoors with a fourth place finish at NCAA East Prelims... Became the first Auburn high jumper since Donald Thomas in 2007 to medal in both indoor and outdoor national meets with a 2.21m, bronze outing. 

2022 Indoor
All-SEC Second Team... USTFCCCA First Team All-American... NCAA Indoors Bronze Medalist... High jumped in six meets, earning five top-three finishes... Earned an event win with a PR of 2.19m at the Carolina Challenge... Named SEC Co-Field Athlete of the Week following win... Won yet another competition with a new 2.21m PR at the Clemson Tiger Paw Invite... Won silver at SEC Indoors, jumping 2.20m... Finished third in the nation after a 2.20m stint at NCAA Indoors, the highest finish for an Auburn high jumper since Donald Thomas in 2007. 

2021 Outdoor
Competed high jump in six meets, earning top-three finishes in five... Opened the season with a 2.21m victory at the Tiger Track Classic... Earned silver at FSU Relays (2.12m), Tennesee Relays (2.14m) and the LSU Alumni Gold Invitational (2.12m).

2021 Indoor
Competed in six meets in high jump… Cleared a personal best (2.18m) at the Carolina Open, finishing first… Finished second at SEC Indoors, clearing 2.13m and earning All-SEC honors… Cleared 2.13m again at NCAA Indoors to finish ninth and garner All-American status. 

2020 Outdoor
Season was canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic.

Competed in six meets in the high jump … tied for 8^th place at SEC indoors at 2.06m.
 
2019 Summer
Won gold medal at USATF U20 Outdoor Championships clearing 2.13m … Finished fifth at U20 Pan American Games with a mark of 2.09m.
 
2019 Outdoor
Action in eight meets in the high jump … Captured silver or bronze in five of eight meets … Cleared an outdoor PR of 2.17m/7-1.5 at Tiger Track Classic to finish second … No. 8 performer in school history with 2.17m height … Finished 15^th at SEC Outdoors (2.02m) and tied for 23^rd (2.11m) at NCAA East Prelims … Cleared a minimum of 2.10m on five occasions.
 
2019 Indoor
True freshman competed in six meets in the high jump … Tied the Auburn freshman school record of 2.16m/7-1 equaling DJ Smith’s mark set in 2011, to finish eighth at the SEC Indoor Championships … Finished second at the Vanderbilt Invitational (2.13m) and Bob Pollock Invitational (2.14m) in consecutive weekends … Cleared 2.10m to take bronze at the Tiger Paw Invitational.

Prepped at Baker High School… 2018 Mobile County Champion… 2018 Alabama 7A Sectional Champion… Alabama 7A Section 1 meet record holder… 2018 Alabama 7A High Jump State Champion and state record holder… Went Undefeated during his senior year… Gulf Shores Record Holder in the High Jump… ranked as top high jumper in the state of Alabama and top ten in the United States at the end of high school season… broke school record in the high jump … PR in high jump is 7-0.

Birthday is February 18... Son of Roderick Broughton, Adreia Broughton and Melvin Hill Sr… has three brothers, Melvin Jr., RJ and Keith... Brother, Melvin Jr., plays football at UMass.
