Began at Auburn: June 2023

Education: Ruiz received her bachelor's in Athletic Training at Kean University in 2023, and is currently in her second year of her Master's in Exercise Science with a concentration of Biomechanics at Auburn University.

Job Responsibilities: Ruiz is a graduate assistant Athletic Trainer working specifically with Men's and Women's Cross Country/Track & Field.

Experience: Ruiz joined the Auburn staff in June 2023, after graduating from her bachelor's degree in May of 2023. Her previous experience in her undergraduate career as an athletic training student was with various high schools, collegiate softball and at the clinic setting.

Personal: Originally from New Jersey, Ruiz is the daughter to Mike and Michele who are now Acworth, Georgia residents. She is also the younger sister to her brother Justin. She played division 3 collegiate soccer at Kean University. Over the years she has served as a member of NATA, ATSNJ, and presented to faculty and healthcare professionals through ATs Care.
