AUBURN, Ala. - Gus Malzahn completed his administrative staff Thursday, announcing three hires, a promotion and two position changes, including Patrick Suddes' appointment to assistant athletic director for football.

"I'm excited about Pat's leadership," Malzahn said. "He's going to do a super job."

Suddes joined Auburn's staff as director of player personnel prior to the 2016 season.

"I'm blessed to work for Coach Malzahn, and to work with this staff," Suddes said. "Auburn is a great place. It's a blessing to be here. I'm going to embrace this new role and look forward to serving. I'm excited for the upcoming season."

Stefan Schmidt, who worked with Suddes at Texas in 2013, will take over as director of player personnel.

Kenny Ingram, who was on Malzahn's Auburn staff in 2013-14 as director of player development and coached defensive line for Malzahn at Arkansas State in 2012, returns as director of player relations. Ingram coached defensive tackles at Cincinnati in 2015-16.

Mollie Moore, an Auburn graduate, will serve as director of recruiting operations, returning to her alma mater after two seasons at Georgia. In 2013, Moore was Auburn's football recruiting administrative assistant.

"We have a great staff in place and the addition of Kenny, Mollie and Stefan, combined with the new duties for Pat, Brett and Jorrell are going to be very beneficial for our program and our players," Malzahn said.

Brett Whiteside transitions to a new role as director of football operations, after serving as director of recruiting operations since 2013.

Jorrell Bostrom, an offensive lineman on Auburn's 2010 national championship team, receives a promotion to director of player development.
