AUBURN, Ala. - The Auburn Sports Network announced today that former SEC Offensive Player of the Year and NFL veteran quarterback Jason Campbell will join an expanded pregame show. The Tiger Tailgate Show presented by CraneWorks and Southeastern Pond Management will now air three hours before kickoff.
"We're excited about what we've been able to add to the broadcast this year," Vice President and General Manager of Auburn Sports Properties Chris Davis said. "These are features that will help paint a greater picture of Auburn football. We have the same great personalities returning, but will be able to expand our expert analysis by the addition of Jason Campbell to the team. We believe the broadcast will improve how we're engaging Auburn fans around Jordan-Hare Stadium and those who aren't able to attend the game."
"This is such a great opportunity to join the Auburn Sports Network, where I already feel part of the team," Campbell said. "When I finished my football career, they welcomed me into the broadcasts, on signing day and with the spring game. I feel comfortable with those guys and we have a lot fun. I'm glad to be back on campus with the Auburn Family."
The first hour of the pregame show will feature the entire Auburn Sports Network crew. Paul Ellen and Andy Burcham co-host the first two-hours, joined by Rod Bramblett, Stan White, Ronnie Brown, Brad Law and Campbell. In the new extended format, the first hour will feature live reports from Tiger Walk, crew picks of the biggest games around the country, and a segment spotlighting Auburn University.
As in year's past, the Tiger Tailgate Show will have special guests each week from the world of Auburn Athletics and Auburn University. The broadcast stage will be located on the east side of Jordan-Hare Stadium right across from the Cam Newton statue.
One-hour before kickoff the pregame shifts to the stadium for a newly expanded Countdown to Kickoff, presented by BancorpSouth. Fans will hear the Auburn Sports Network crew breakdown the game with soundbites from Auburn coaches and players, take a look around the league on The SEC Report and hear from the head coach on the Gus Malzahn Pregame Report presented by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama.
TIGER TALK: The Voice of the Tigers, Rod Bramblett begins his 20th season as a host. The show returns to Bob's Victory Grill in Auburn for another year of on-site broadcasts beginning Thursday, Aug. 31. Each week fans will hear from head coaches, assistant coaches, student-athletes and other Auburn Athletics personalities.
LIVE SPORTS RADIOS: Live Sports Radio presented by Alfa Insurance will be back for all home and away games. They will be sold at seven kiosks around Jordan-Hare Stadium (3 outside / 4 inside). Please see one of those kiosks to purchase or reprogram your radio. Note: Live Sports Radio is good at home games for Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball, Baseball and Softball.
