Auburn Hosts Vanderbilt to Begin Final Stretch of SEC Play

AUBURN, Ala. ââ'¬" No. 20 Auburn (31-14, 10-11 SEC) begins its final three weekends of Southeastern Conference play with a three-game series vs. No. 17 Vanderbilt (25-19, 11-10 SEC). Friday's series opener is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT and will be followed by game two Saturday at 2 p.m. and the series finale Sunday at 1 p.m.

  • Offensively, Vanderbilt is hitting .264 on the year and .249 in conference play, which ranks just ahead of Auburn for 10th in the league. Austin Martin leads the team with a .342 average, while Ethan Paul is the team's top power threat with eight home runs and 37 RBI.
  • On the mound, Vanderbilt holds a 3.87 ERA and has turned in a 4.53 team ERA in SEC play. All three members of the Commodores' weekend rotation have an ERA under 3.80.
