Auburn in the NFL: Week 11 recapAuburn in the NFL: Week 11 recap

AUBURN, Ala. – Here's a look at how the 25 former Auburn players on active NFL rosters fared this past weekend in week 11 of the NFL season.

BEST OF WEEK 11

Peyton Barber, RB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
It was a career day for Barber, who reached 100 yards rushing for only the second time in his NFL career. The third-year running back finished with a career-high 106 yards on 18 carries and also scored on a five-yard touchdown in Sunday's 38-35 loss to the New York Giants. Barber averaged 5.9 yards per carry and matched his season-long run of 28 yards. He's now averaging 4.7 yards per carry over his last six games.

Daniel Carlson, K, Oakland Raiders
Carlson set a career high will 11 points scored as the former All-American at Auburn converted two extra-point attempts and made all three of his field-goal attempts from 49, 21 and 35 yards. But the real highlight came on the final play of the game as Carlson calmly drilled a 35-yard field goal to beat the Arizona Cardinals, 23-21. On Wednesday, the rookie kicker was named the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week.

Braden Smith, OL, Indianapolis Colts
As Indianapolis continue its winning ways – adding a 38-10 victory over the Titans this week – it's no secret that Smith and the offensive line have played a major role. The group has not allowed a sack in five straight games, and it's allowed opponents to hit quarterback Andrew Luck just three times over the past three games. The second-round pick from Auburn has become a staple up front, starting the last six games at right tackle.

OTHER TIGERS IN THE NFL

Montravius Adams, DT, Green Bay Packers
A week after recording his first sack, Adams played 23 snaps on defense but failed to record any stats in a 27-24 loss to the Seahawks on Thursday night.

Artis-Payne received his first carry of the season and gained one yard in a 20-19 loss to the Lions. The former fifth-round pick also saw action on special teams.

Daren Bates, LB, Tennessee Titans
After being selected as one of the Titans' six captains against the Colts on Sunday, Bates was not credited with a defensive statistic a week after having two tackles against the Patriots.

Angelo Blackson, DE, Houston Texans
Blackson was credited with one tackle in the Texans' 23-21 win at Washington. The fourth-round draft pick in 2015 has 15 total tackles through 10 games this season and has recorded at least one tackle in nine of those 10 contests.

Josh Bynes, LB, Arizona Cardinals
Starting at linebacker, Bynes was on the field for every defensive snap in Sunday's loss to the Raiders. He finished with eight tackles, one tackle for loss and a pass deflection. Now in his seventh year in the league, Bynes is third on the team with 72 tackles this season.

Sammie Coates, WR, Houston Texans

Ford, who has started every game for the Chiefs this season, was credited with two solo tackles, one quarterback hit and one forced fumble in Kansas City's 54-51 loss to the Los Angeles Rams on Monday Night Football. The fumble came midway through the second quarter when Ford knocked the ball away from Rams quarterback Jared Goff. It's the seventh fumble he's forced this year.

Rudy Ford, DB, Arizona Cardinals
Ford was held out of Sunday's game with a heel injury. The former sixth-round pick is now in his second year in the league and earned his first start earlier this season.

Josh Harris, LS, Atlanta Falcons
Harris served as the team's long snapper in a 22-19 loss to the Dallas Cowboys.

Kerryon Johnson, RB, Detroit Lions
Johnson was on his way to another 100-yard rushing performance until a knee injury forced him to leave the game in the third quarter. The rookie running back still finished with 87 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries and also caught two passes in a 20-19 win over the Panthers. The injury did not require surgery, and Johnson – who leads the Lions with 641 yards rushing – is only expected to miss a couple weeks.

Jonathan Jones, CB, New England Patriots
With the Patriots on bye, Jones did not play this week.

Brandon King, LB, New England Patriots
With the Patriots on bye, King did not play this week.

Cassanova McKinzy, LB, Washington Redskins

His 48-yard kick in the final minutes all but sealed the victory. Parkey, who joined Carlson as the NFC Special Teams Player of the Week on Wednesday, has now made 16 field goals on the season.

He was targeted five times and averaged 13.7 yards per reception. On the season, Uzomah has caught 23 of 32 targets from Bengals quarterbacks for 248 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
