AUBURN, Ala. – Here's a look at how the 25 former Auburn players on active NFL rosters fared this past weekend in week 12 of the NFL season.
BEST OF WEEK 12
Peyton Barber, RB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Coming off his best performance of the season, Barber rushed for 47 yards a touchdown on 18 carries and added two catches for 16 yards to help the Buccaneers beat the San Francisco 49ers, 27-9, on Sunday. It was the second straight game he's scored a rushing touchdown, and it was his fourth touchdown overall this season. The third-year running back leads the team and is 20th in the NFL with 590 rushing yards on the season.

Greg Robinson, OT, Cleveland Browns
Robinson started his third consecutive game and played all 64 offensive snaps as the Browns traveled to Cincinnati and beat the Bengals, 35-20. Robinson and the Browns' offensive line provided quarterback Baker Mayfield with enough time to complete 19-of-26 passes for 258 yards and a career-high four touchdowns. For the second straight week, Robinson and the rest of the offensive line did not allow Mayfield to be sacked.
C.J. Uzomah, TE, Cincinnati Bengals
It was a standout week for the fourth-year pro, who started his eighth straight game, as he matched his career high with six receptions on 13 targets for 39 yards in a 35-20 loss to the Cleveland Browns. His 13 targets – spread between quarterbacks Andy Dalton and Jeff Driskel – were a team most and he was the lone non-offensive linemen to play every offensive snap for the Bengals.
OTHER TIGERS IN THE NFL
Montravius Adams, DT, Green Bay Packers
Adams continues to see his playing time increase as he received 19 snaps on defense and finished with three tackles in Sunday's loss to the Minnesota Vikings. It was a career-high in tackles for the second-year pro, who recorded his first NFL sacks two weeks ago.
Cameron Artis-Payne, RB, Carolina Panthers
Playing for the second straight week, Artis-Payne saw action primarily on special teams in a 30-27 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. The former fifth-round pick is now in his fourth year in the league.
Daren Bates, LB, Tennessee Titans
Bates saw the field on 26 special teams plays and did not record a statistic as the Titans fell to the Houston Texans, 34-17, on Monday Night Football.
Angelo Blackson, DE, Houston Texans
For the first time since Houston's Week 4 win at Indianapolis, Blackson was not credited with a tackle. However, he was on the right side of the final score as the Texans beat the Titans, 34-17, to extend their winning streak to eight. On the season, Blackson has 10 solo tackles, one sack, two QB hits and three pass deflections.
Josh Bynes, LB, Arizona Cardinals
In the midst of a career year for the Cardinals, Bynes suffered a thumb injury Sunday that will force him to miss the rest of the season. Before the injury, the eighth-year pro recorded three tackles in a loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. Bynes started all 11 games and will finish the year with 75 total tackles (seven off his career high), two sacks and five passes defended.
Daniel Carlson, K, Oakland Raiders
Carlson continued his hot start with the Raiders as he connected on a 42-yard field goal attempt and converted both of his PAT attempts as the Raiders fell to Baltimore, 34-17. Carlson has made all eight of his extra-point attempts and 7 of 8 field-goal attempts since joining the Raiders on Oct. 23.
Sammie Coates, WR, Houston Texans
Coates played primarily on special teams as he was on the field for 13 special team plays en route to the Texans knocking off the Titans, 34-17, and maintaining their place atop the AFC South. He was credited with one tackle.
Shon Coleman, OL, San Francisco 49ers
Coleman did not see the field in Week 12. The former third-round pick was traded from the Cleveland Browns to the 49ers prior to the season.
Blake Countess, DB, Los Angeles Rams
With the Rams on bye, Countess did not play this week.
Carlton Davis, CB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Davis started his 10th game for the Buccaneers on Sunday but was forced to leave early with a knee injury. The rookie cornerback recorded one tackle before the injury, which gives him 34 total tackles on the season. He's also broken up three passes.
Dee Ford, LB, Kansas City Chiefs
With the Chiefs on bye, Ford did not play this week.
Rudy Ford, DB, Arizona Cardinals
After missing last week's game due to injury, Ford returned Sunday and played 19 snaps on special teams in a loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.
Josh Harris, LS, Atlanta Falcons
Harris served as the team's long snapper in a 31-17 loss to the New Orleans Saints.
Kerryon Johnson, RB, Detroit Lions
Johnson was held out of Thursday's game against the Chicago Bears with a left knee sprain he suffered the week before. The second-round pick in the midst of a breakout rookie season with 641 yards rushing, 213 yards receiving and four total touchdowns. There's a chance Johnson will return to the field for this Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Rams.
Jonathan Jones, CB, New England Patriots
Jones, an undrafted free agent in 2016, was credited with three tackles – two solo and one assisted – in the Patriots' 27-13 win at the New York Jets. He played 13 snaps on the defensive side of the football and 18 with the special team units. Two of Jones' three tackles came on the Jets' first offensive series of the game.
Brandon King, LB, New England Patriots
King played 19 special team snaps in a 27-13 win over the New York Jets. As a unit, the Patriots allowed an average of 26 yards per kickoff return the entire game and yielded only one punt return yard.
Cassanova McKinzy, LB, Washington Redskins
Playing in his third NFL game, McKinzy tore his pectoral in a 31-23 loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving. The team placed him on injured reserve Tuesday.
Cam Newton, QB, Carolina Panthers
Sunday proved to be Newton's most efficient game of the season as he completed 83.3 percent of his passes (25 of 30) and threw for 256 yards and two touchdowns. The former league MVP also rushed for 63 yards on eight carries, but it wasn't enough as the Panthers dropped a close contest to the Seattle Seahawks, 30-27. Newton has now accounted for 26 total touchdowns on the season.
Cody Parkey, K, Chicago Bears
A week after he earned NFC Special Teams Player of the Week honors, Parkey was perfect again in Week 12 as he made his only field-goal attempt from 40 yards out and converted both PAT attempts to help the Bears beat the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving. The fifth-year kicker is now 17 of 22 on field goals this season.
Braden Smith, OT, Indianapolis Colts
Smith, who started and played all 69 offensive snaps for Indianapolis, helped the Colts extend their winning streak to five games following a 27-24 win over the Miami Dolphins. Smith and the rest of the offensive line helped quarterback Andrew Luck complete 30-of-37 passes for 343 yards and three touchdowns and paved the way for Colts' running game to top the century mark on 26 attempts.
Neiko Thorpe, CB, Seattle Seahawks
Thorpe made his return to the field Sunday after missing the past four weeks with a groin injury. The seventh-year pro saw action on special teams but failed to record any stats.
Jermaine Whitehead, S, Cleveland Browns
In the Browns' 35-20 win over the Cincinnati Bengals, Whitehead played 11 snaps with the Browns' special teams units but did not record a statistic.
