For the second week in a row, Auburn had three different players score touchdowns in the NFL. Defensively, the first interception of the season by an Auburn player came from Carlton Davis who is emerging as one of the top cornerbacks in the league. That and more in this week's Auburn in the NFL rundown.

BEST OF WEEK 2

Josh Bynes, LB, Cincinnati Bengals
Bynes accounted for eight tackles for a second consecutive game to open his season with the Bengals. The 10th-year player is now tied for the team lead with 16 tackles through two games, and his PFF pass rush grade (66.6) ranks 16th among all linebackers. He has also proven himself to be a leader for the defense.

Daniel Carlson, K, Las Vegas Raiders
Carlson, named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week last week, enjoyed another strong performance in Week 2. With one minute to go, he drilled a 54-yard field goal to seal the 34-24 victory over the New Orleans Saints. He also made a field goal from 28 yards out and was a perfect 3 of 3 on extra points. Carlson has now made 5 of his 7 attempts from 50 yards or more in his NFL career.

Carlton Davis, CB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Bucs earned their first win Sunday, and Davis played a huge part with a key interception in the fourth quarter that changed the momentum in what was a one-score game at the time. It was the second-career interception for Davis, who also had five tackles, a tackle for loss and two pass deflections. Through two games, he now has nine tackles, two tackles for loss and an overall PFF grade of 67.5.

Kerryon Johnson, RB, Detroit Lions
Playing in Lambeau Field on Sunday, Johnson did the Lambeau Leap after scoring on a 1-yard touchdown run in the first quarter. It was the seventh-career touchdown for Johnson, who tallied 32 yards on eight carries in Sunday's loss to the Green Bay Packers. He's started both games for the Lions this season and is motivated after knee injuries interrupted his first two NFL seasons.

Cam Newton, QB, New England Patriots
It was vintage Cam Newton on Sunday night as the former NFL MVP threw for 397 yards, rushed for 47 yards and accounted for three total touchdowns (1 passing, 2 rushing), though his efforts fell short in a 35-30 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. Newton now has two rushing touchdowns in each of the first two games, and his 397 yards passing were the most he's had since he threw for 400 yards in Weeks 1 and 2 of the 2011 season.

C.J. Uzomah, TE, Cincinnati Bengals
Like Johnson and Newton, Uzomah also found the end zone in Week 2 with a 23-yard touchdown reception in the second quarter. It was career touchdown No. 8 for the sixth-year tight end. He finished with four catches on six targets for 42 yards and could have had more if not for an Achilles injury that will cause him to miss the rest of the season. In two games, Uzomah was on pace for career highs in receptions (64) and yards (696).
