NFL defenses beware. Carl Lawson is healthy again. The former All-SEC defensive end had two sacks Sunday and now has three sacks on the season. It was also a banner week for Auburn's first three picks of the 2020 NFL draft, two of which made their first start. That and more in this week's Auburn in the NFL rundown.

BEST OF WEEK 3

Derrick Brown, DL, Carolina Panthers
Brown, the No. 7 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, enjoyed a breakout performance in Week 3. The rookie defensive lineman made five tackles, including three tackles for loss, in Sunday's win over the Los Angeles Chargers. Brown has now started in all three games this season and is expected to be a key player on the defense. Every pick top-10 pick the Panthers have made since 2000 has gone on to become an All-Pro.

Marlon Davidson, DL, Atlanta Falcons
A knee injury caused Davidson to miss the first two games of the season, but the rookie defensive lineman made his NFL debut with the Falcons on Sunday. In his first game, he played 32 snaps and accounted for four tackles against the Chicago Bears. Davidson was selected in the second round with pick No. 47 in April's NFL draft.

Jamel Dean, CB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Dean earned his first start of the 2020 season on Sunday and led the Buccaneers with eight tackles, including six solo, in their 28-10 win over the Denver Broncos. Dean, a second-round pick in 2019, has 21 tackles and one pass deflection through the first three games and could see extended playing time if cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting misses time due to injury.

Noah Igbinoghene, CB, Miami Dolphins
Playing in just his third NFL game, Igbinoghene started for the first time Thursday night. The rookie cornerback finished with three tackles and a pass defended as the Dolphins beat the Jacksonville Jaguars, 31-13. Per PFF, Igbinoghene and fellow corner Xavien Howard allowed three catches and 30 yards on nine targets.

Jonathan Jones, CB, New England Patriots
Jones, who finished last season with PFF's top run defense grade (86.8) among all NFL cornerbacks, continued his impressive start to the 2020 campaign with eight tackles in Sunday's victory over the Las Vegas Raiders. The fifth-year player also had two passes defended and allowed only 35 receiving yards. He has now started all three games and is second on the team with 17 tackles.

Carl Lawson, DE, Cincinnati Bengals
Lawson was dominant Sunday, carrying the Bengals' defense with eight tackles, two sacks and a forced fumble in a 23-23 tie against the Philadelphia Eagles. He now has three sacks on the year and looks like the player that broke into the league with 8.5 sacks as a rookie in 2016. Per PFF, Lawson has an overall defensive grade of 74.7 through three games, which is tied for 13th among all edge rushers in the NFL.
