Jarrett Stidham threw his first NFL touchdown pass. Carlton Davis sealed a victory with a late interception, his second of the season. And Rudy Ford (above) showed off his wheels with a game-changing play on special teams. That and more in this week's Auburn in the NFL rundown.

BEST OF WEEK 4

Derrick Brown, DL, Carolina Panthers
For the second week in a row, Brown impressed in Carolina's win over the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. The rookie defensive lineman finished with two tackles, including a tackle for loss and earned a PFF grade of 89.1, which was first among all rookie defenders and fourth among all NFL defensive tackles. After a slow start to the season, Brown has seven tackles and four tackles for loss over the last two weeks.

Daniel Carlson, K, Las Vegas Raiders
Carlson was perfect Sunday, making all three of his field goals and both PATs. In the first quarter, he put the Raiders on the board with a 54-yard field, tying his career long. He's now 3 of 3 on kicks from 50 yards or more on the season. He added a 39-yard field goal in the second quarter and then made one from 25 yards out in the second half. Through four games, Carlson is fourth among NFL kickers with 39 total points.

Carlton Davis, CB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
With the game on the line, it was Davis who sealed the 38-31 victory for the Buccaneers when he intercepted Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert in the closing minutes. It was the second interception of the season for Davis who also had two tackles and two passes defended in the game. Through the first four games, he has allowed just nine catches on 16 targets for a total of 91 yards. He's also the top-ranked cornerback in the NFL in terms of run defense with a PFF grade of 88.5.

Rudy Ford, DB, Philadelphia Eagles
Playing primarily on special teams, Ford has become a special teams ace for the Eagles this season. He recorded three tackles in Week 1, and in Sunday's win over the San Francisco 49ers, he changed the game early when he raced down the field on punt coverage and blew up the return man for no gain.

Darius Slayton, WR, New York Giants
Slayton hauled in three catches for 48 yards in Sunday's loss to the Rams. It was the third time in four games Slayton has led the Giants in receiving yards, and he's tops on the team for the season with 15 catches and 236 yards receiving. His 15.7 yards per catch ranks 16th among all wide receivers in the NFL.

Jarrett Stidham, QB, New England Patriots
With Cam Newton out because of COVID-19, it opened the door for Stidham against the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday night. Though he didn't start the game, Stidham replaced Brian Hoyer in the fourth quarter and threw his first NFL touchdown pass on his first drive. Stidham and Newton are now the first former Auburn players to throw a touchdown pass for the same NFL franchise in the same season.
