AUBURN, Ala. – It's the annual Pink Game at Auburn Arena Sunday as the Tigers welcome Alabama for a 5 p.m. CT tip.

Auburn will be wearing its pink jerseys, and fans are encouraged to wear pink in support of breast cancer awareness and research.

Tickets are available at AUBTix.com; all tickets are $6 and good for general admission seating in the 100 level of Auburn Arena. All persons inside the arena must wear face coverings and observe appropriate social distancing; for more gameday guidelines, visit the women's basketball gameday page at AuburnTigers.com.

Auburn is coming off a loss at No. 24 Georgia Thursday night that saw senior Unique Thompson inch closer to a pair of milestones. With a 22-point, 13-rebound performance, she now has 1,103 career rebounds and is just 15 shy of the all-time Auburn record of 1,118, held by Becky Jackson. She also secured her 55th career double-double and is just two away from entering the top 10 in SEC history in career double-doubles.

Alabama fell to Ole Miss Thursday night in its last contest. The Crimson Tide won the earlier meeting with Auburn in Tuscaloosa on Jan. 24, 67-55.

LAST TIME OUT
››     Auburn's Unique Thompson led all scorers with 22 points, but a big Georgia run to end the third quarter put the game out of reach as the Tigers fell 74-54 Thursday night at Stegeman Coliseum.
››     Thompson finished with 22 points and 12 rebounds for her 13th double-double of the season and 55th of her career. She also added a team-high four steals. Thompson topped the 1,100-rebound mark for her career and now has 1,103; she is 15 shy of the Auburn career record of 1,118 held by Becky Jackson. Her next double-double will tie her with former Georgia star Katrina McClain for 11th in SEC history.
››     Honesty Scott-Grayson shook off a slow start to finish with 12 points; she also had three rebounds. Keya Patton and Aicha Coulibaly had eight points apiece. Kira Lowery moved back into the starting lineup at point guard and led the Tigers with four assists.
››     The Tigers forced Georgia into 28 turnovers, the most by an Auburn opponent this season, converting those into 21 points. But it was another rough shooting night for the Tigers as Auburn finished 18-of-64 (28%) from the floor and made just 2-of-11 3-point attempts. Georgia shot 47 percent (27-58) and controlled the boards, out-rebounding Auburn 54-31.

AN AUBURN WIN WOULD...
››     Snap a three-game skid against Alabama.
››     Be the 99th Auburn women's basketball win in Auburn Arena.
››     Be the Tigers' third straight home win in pink jerseys.

AUBURN-ALABAMA SERIES
››     This is the 95th meeting between Auburn and Alabama in women's basketball, the second of two contests this season. It is the second-most played women's basketball series in the SEC, behind only Ole Miss-Mississippi State.
››     Auburn is 53-41 all-time against Alabama, including a 31-11 lead at home. Auburn has won 7 of the 10 previous meetings at Auburn Arena.

LAST MEETING: Jan. 24, 2021, in Tuscaloosa
Alabama 67, Auburn 55

››     Auburn's Honesty Scott-Grayson scored 17 points, but Alabama started fast and pulled away late for a 67-55 win at Coleman Coliseum.
››     The Tigers once again dug themselves an early hole, fought back to keep within striking distance, but could not finish off the comeback in the first of two meetings with the Crimson Tide this season.
››     Scott-Grayson's 17 points included a 7-for-8 day at the free throw line; she was the only Auburn player to attempt a free throw in the game. She also led the Tigers with four assists and matched a career-high with five steals. Unique Thompson picked up her 10th straight double-double and 52nd of her career with 10 points and 10 rebounds on the day. Alaina Rice matched a season-high with nine points, and Jala Jordan and Romi Levy added eight apiece.
››     Shots would not fall for the Tigers early as Auburn finished the day at 35 percent from the floor (22-62) and just 4-of-19 on 3-pointers (21%). Alabama, meanwhile, hit 26-of-56 from the floor (46%) and knocked down seven treys. Auburn out-rebounded Alabama 38-33 and turned 14 offensive rebounds into 12 second-chance points, and the Tigers got 20 points off their bench.
