GREENSBORO, N.C. – Wrapping up the NCAA Zone B Championships on Tuesday, Auburn had three women finish in the top 15 on platform while Conner Pruitt earned a second list on men's 1-meter, but the Tigers were unable to send anybody through to the NCAA Championships.

"Unfortunately, we didn't get any people to advance," Auburn head diving coach Jeff Shaffer said. "That was obviously disappointing. There were some valiant efforts today, but there's still situations where we didn't finish our dives strong and it cost us."

Sophomore Gretchen Wensuc led the way for Auburn on the women's platform with 480.50 total points to finish 12th overall. It was an improvement on last year when Wensuc finished 19th on platform, just missing the chance to earn a second list.

Sophomore Ashlynn Sullivan and freshman Maia Goldstein also made it through to the finals this year and placed 14th and 15th respectively. Sullivan scored 446.15 points, an improvement from last year, while Goldstein totaled 441.65 points.

Pruitt also earned a second list on the men's side with 309.55 points in the 1-meter prelims. The junior finished 12th overall with 630.25 points between both lists.

Freshman Hunter Kebler and sophomore Skip Donald finished 19th and 20th in prelims, and rounding out the Auburn contingent for the men was senior Logan Andrews who was 23rd. For Kebler, who was diving at his first Zones meet, his 274.90 points in prelims was the second-highest score he's received on 1-meter this season.

"We're a young team," Shaffer said. "The experience for the freshmen and sophomores was strong. I think our sophomores moved up and improved upon what they did last year, so that's showing signs of moving in the right direction. But overall, we need to be a little bit sharper and better in a competitive situation."

Next up for the Auburn swimming and diving team will be the NCAA Women's Championships on March 17-20. The Tigers will have eight swimmers competing at the meet.
