It's been a breakthrough season for Derrick Brown, the former top 10 draft pick, and he showed out yet again Sunday with his best performance yet, per PFF.
That and more in this week's NFL rundown.
BEST OF WEEK 6
Derrick Brown, DT, Carolina Panthers
Brown continued his dominant play this season with another impressive performance Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams. The former SEC Defensive Player of the Year logged seven tackles, two QB hits and half a sack – his first sack in 2022. Brown's overall PFF grade (91.3) was his best of the season and second among all interior defensive lineman for the week. On the year, he's No. 6 at his position with a PFF grade of (89.9).

Carlton Davis, CB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Playing at Pittsburgh for the first time in his career, Davis finished with four tackles and one pass defended against the Steelers on Sunday. It was the fourth pass defended of the season for Davis, who now has 52 since the 2019 season – tied for the most in the NFL during that span. The former second-round pick had a PFF grade over 75 for the second straight week, and his coverage grade (80.7) was his highest of the year.
Noah Igbinoghene, CB, Miami Dolphins
Thrust into action because of injuries, Igbinoghene took full advantage of his opportunity with a solid outing against the Vikings on Sunday. Igbinoghene was targeted twice in coverage and allowed zero catches, breaking up two passes in 19 coverage snaps. He finished with an overall PFF grade of 71.9 – sixth-best on the Miami defense.

Braden Smith, OL, Indianapolis Colts
In a redemption game against division foe Jacksonville, Smith and the rest of the Colts' offensive lineman delivered. Moving back out to right tackle after playing guard last week, Smith allowed zero sacks and quarterback hits despite going against Travon Walker, the No. 1 overall pick in April's NFL draft. As a team, the Colts threw for 389 yards in the victory. Smith's PFF grade (69.1) was his second highest of the season.
