A blocked punt? Check. Interception? Check. Touchdown? Check. Cornerback Jonathan Jones did it all for New England on Sunday, enjoying a career day against the Colts.
That and more in this week's NFL rundown.
BEST OF WEEK 9
Carlton Davis, CB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Tampa Bay had lost its previous three games and needed a big performance Sunday with the defending Super Bowl champions, Los Angeles Rams, coming to town. Davis had a busy day with six tackles, including a key tackle for loss early in the fourth quarter. He earned a 70.3 coverage grade per PFF going against a loaded Rams' wide receiver group and played a huge role in holding the Rams to just 13 points in a 16-13 victory.
Jonathan Jones, CB, New England Patriots
Jones was a one-man wrecking crew against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. He blocked a punt, intercepted a pass and returned it for a touchdown, disrupted another pass and added a tackle to complete his day. The former Tiger had his second highest defensive PFF grade of the season (75.6) and helped the Patriots hold their opponent to just three points. Through nine games, Jones ranks No. 11 among all NFL DBs with a 79.1 PFF grade.

Roger McCreary, CB, Tennessee Titans
In a highly anticipated matchup against the explosive Kansas City Chiefs offense, McCreary and the Titans stepped up to the challenge. The former All-American was second on the team with eight tackles and snagged his first NFL interception early in the third quarter. He also added a pass-breakup, his third of the season. McCreary's most impressive work might have come while matched up against Pro Bowl tight end Travis Kelce.

Jamien Sherwood, LB, New York Jets
Sherwood only played a handful of snaps Sunday but was flying all over the field in a 20-17 victory over division rival Buffalo. He replaced the injured C.J. Mosley midway through the first quarter and finished with five tackles, a season high, and picked up half a sack, his first of the season. He led the Jets in total tackles in the first half. Sherwood's 76.9 PFF grade was top 20 among all NFL linebackers in week nine.
