Jarrett Stidham made history in his first NFL start. Rudy Ford and Jonathan Jones both had interceptions in key wins as their teams vie for the playoffs. And Daniel Carlson made another 50-yard field goal, matching his career long at 57.
That and more in this week's NFL rundown.
BEST OF WEEK 17
Daniel Carlson, K, Las Vegas Raiders
In a game where Jarrett Stidham grabbed the headlines, Carlson was perfect for the fourth straight week and matched his career long with a 57-yard field goal to tie the game in the fourth quarter. Carlson has now connected on 10 field goals of 50 yards or more – tops in the NFL. He also added a 20-yard field goal and made all four of his extra points. Carlson is currently tied for third in the NFL with 130 points on the season.
Rudy Ford, S, Green Bay Packers
In what was a "must-win" game for Green Bay against the Minnesota Vikings, Ford grabbed his third interception of the season and tallied three tackles to help the Packers get a big win and keep their playoff hopes alive. He picked up 19 yards following the interception and set up a Green Bay touchdown. The former Tiger earned an overall PFF grade of 83.1, the second highest on the defense from Sunday and the third highest of the season for Ford.

Jonathan Jones, CB, New England Patriots
Whenever the Patriots face Tyreek Hill, Jones typically draws the assignment of trying to slow down the Pro Bowl wide receiver. He did so yet again Sunday, holding Hill to one catch for four yards on four targets when the two were matched up together. He also secured his fourth interception of the season on a play where Hill bobbled it, Jones grabbed it and then did a masterful job keeping both feet in bounds. Jones added four tackles and a pass deflection and scored his third best PFF grade of the season at 76.7.

Carl Lawson, DE, New York Jets
Lawson made his presence felt for the Jets in Sunday's matchup with the Seattle Seahawks as the sixth-year pass rusher finished with four tackles and recorded his seventh sack of the season. It's the most sacks Lawson has had since his rookie season in 2017 when he had 8.5. Lawson dominated the line of scrimmage Sunday and earned a pass-rush rating of 86.1 from PFF – the seventh-best grade among all NFL edge players for Week 17.
Jarrett Stidham, QB, Las Vegas Raiders
In what was his first career NFL start Sunday, Jarrett Stidham made history. The former Auburn signal caller completed 23 of 34 passes for 365 yards and three touchdowns against the No. 1 defense in the league. It was the most passing yards for a quarterback in their first start in Raiders' franchise history, and Stidham became only the second QB since 1950 with at least 350 passing yards and three touchdowns in their first career start. Stidham finished with a QBR of 77.4 and also added 34 rushing yards on seven carries.
