No. 10/14 Auburn to battle in-state foe No. 19/18 Alabama in Tuscaloosa

AUBURN, Ala. – In the last dual meet of the year, No. 10/14 Auburn Tigers face a top-20 matchup, traveling to No. 19/18 Alabama on Friday. Action in Tuscaloosa begins at 4 p.m. CT inside the Alabama Aquatic Center.
 
Fans unable to make the trip will be able to stream the meet live on SEC Network Plus and live results will be available on Meet Mobile.
 
Head coach Ryan Wochomurka's crew is coming off a pair of solid dual performances against Georgia and Arkansas.
 
For the Women, it was nothing but dominance against the Razorbacks. Led by senior Meghan Lee, the Orange and Blue hit the wall first in every race. Lee, the Timonium, Maryland product has now won seven straight races, including three relay efforts.
 
Freshman Lawson Ficken also picked up a pair of wins in both the 100 free and 100 fly. Wyllo Hanson, Anastasia Makarova, Lexie Mulvihill and Averee Preble all solidified their first wins of the season as well.
 
On the men's side, the Tigers' relays have been some of the best in the country. Auburn owns top 10 times in the 200 free, 400 free and 400 medley relays. Combined, the Orange and Blue have mustered seven relay wins throughout the year.
 
Henry Bethel is coming off his first individual win of the season in the 100 breast against Georgia. Meanwhile, brothers Aidan Stoffle and Nate Stoffle each own NCAA A cuts in the 200 back, stemming from record-breaking swims at the UGA Fall Invite.
 
In the diving well, Whit Andrus, Hunter Kebler, Abigail Farrar and Ashlynn Sullivan have all grabbed NCAA Zones qualifying scores in each of the three disciplines. Sophomore Kyleigh Kidd has been red-hot since December, garnering four wins, two apiece on the 1-meter and 3-meter springboard.
 
Andrus' 384.75 on the 3-meter against Georgia remains the second-highest score in the SEC this season as is Kebler's 396.68 on Platform.

One more meet remains before the Tigers host the 2024 SEC Championships. Auburn will welcome a bevy of competitors for the Auburn Invitational and the First Chance Meet, Feb. 9-10 inside James E. Martin Aquatic Center.
