Auburn finishes Tennessee Diving Invitational on high note

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Three days of scintillating diving action has come to a close inside the Allan Jones Intercollegiate Aquatics Center. John Fox's crew rounded out a solid week of diving on Friday, including four top-12 finishes across the men's platform and women's 1-meter events.
 
It was junior Whit Andrus leading the men's side once again, pulling together a solid six dives for a 328.35 and fourth place overall.
 
The last time Hunter Kebler stepped to the tower, he dialed up a personal best. On Friday, Kebler managed another sturdy score north of 300 for a 317.40 and ninth place.
 
Freshmen Talan Blackmon and Alex Just rounded out their weeks with 15th and 22nd-place showings, respectively.
 
Abigail Farrar paced the Tigers in prelims on the 1-meter. Her 256.25 was the 10th-best score of the morning while Kyleigh Kidd was close behind at 252.55 in 12th. Kidd would bump up to eighth after a 272.30 in finals. Farrar upped her game as well with a 263.20 and finished 12th overall.
 
Senior Ashlynn Sullivan went on to finish in 15th while freshman Kayla Walsh grabbed 29th.

Auburn Swim and Dive will be on the Plains on Saturday, Jan. 6 for senior day and a dual against rival Georgia. The meet begins at 10 a.m. CT with senior day festivities slated for 9:35 a.m. CT. Fans unable to make it to James E. Martin Aquatic Center can watch live on SEC Network Plus.
