Two Orange and Blue records went down in Athens last week, though. Danny Schmidt delivered a 1:40.43 in the 200 fly to set the program’s best mark. Schmidt would also jump to No. 2 in the 200 free (1:31.80), the 200 IM (1:41.42) and the 400 IM (3:40.29).

Komoroczy, Elizaveta Klevanovich, Audrey Crawford and Morgan Carteaux would also etch their names in the Auburn record book. Komoroczy lowered her No. 2 time in the 100 back to 51.21 and jumped to No. 7 all-time in the 100 fly at 51.65. Crawford’s 2:09.30 in the 200 breast makes her the No. 5 fastest performer and Carteaux moved up to No. 6 in the 100 fly with a speedy 51.64.

John Fox and his diving crew will host the NCAA Zone B Championships March 9-12 on the Plains in the James E. Martin Aquatics Center.

Both the Women’s and Men’s NCAA Championships will be held at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatics Center in Federal Way, Washington. The women will compete March 19-22 while the men are slated for March 26-29.
