Gymnastics Rankings: Week 11

AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn gymnastics team moved up to No. 12 in this week’s RoadToNationals.com rankings, upping its NQS to 197.170.

The Tigers (10-6, 3-5 SEC) closed out the regular season with a 197.550 at home last Friday, earning their second-highest team score of the year.

Oklahoma remains at the top of the rankings with a 198.040 NQS. LSU stands at No. 2 with a NQS of 198.005, while Florida is at No. 3 with a 197.860 NQS. Utah is fourth with a 197.670 and UCLA is fifth at 197.600.

The rest of the SEC remains in the top 20 – Missouri (No. 7), Kentucky (No. 8), Georgia (No. 10) Alabama (No. 13), and Arkansas (No. 16) following. 

After another solid score this past Friday, the vault squad moved up to No. 8 nationally with a 49.290 NQS. Beam remains in the top 10 and is currently tied for ninth with a 49.385. Floor is tied for 10th (49.425) and bars is 16th (49.250).

Sophomore Paige Zancan is coming off a career-high 9.975 on vault last week and it pushed her to a 9.885 NQS, which places her tied for 25th. Senior Sara Hubbard is tied for 30th in the event with a 9.880 NQS.

Fifth year Gabby McLaughlin is tied for 28th on beam with a 9.895, while Zancan and freshman Marissa Neal are among the top 40 with a 9.885 NQS. Sophomore Alex Irvine is tied for 34th on bars (9.895).

Auburn kicks off the postseason this weekend, traveling to Birmingham for the 2025 SEC Gymnastics Championship. The Tigers will be the No. 7 seed and will compete in the afternoon session on March 22 at the BJCC. Action will begin at 2:30 p.m. CT and will be televised on SEC Network.
