AUBURN, Ala. – Six current and former Auburn student-athletes have all earned spots at the 2025 World Aquatics Championships in Singapore July 25 through August 3.

Lora Komoroczy (Hungary), Daniel Krichevsky (Israel), Emily Hallifax (France), Juliette Landi (France), Ben Wilson (Australia) and Valerie Tarazi (Palestine) will compete on the world’s most prestigious stage.

Komoroczy dazzled in her freshman year on the Plains, jumping into the top 10 performer list in both the 100 back and 100 fly. Already a seasoned veteran in international competition, Lora will compete in both the 50-meter and 100-meter backstroke for her native Hungary.

Krichevsky, an incoming freshman, is in line to compete in the 4x100 relay as well as the 4x200 free relay. The Israeli national was the silver medalist in the men’s 100-meter freestyle at the Israeli trials in May.

Head diving coach John Fox has a trio of divers in Singapore, including Olympians Emily Hallifax and Juliette Landi.

Hallifax and Landi will both compete for France on the 10-meter platform. Landi will also take part in the 1-meter springboard. Hallifax is coming off a fourth-place finish on platform at the World Aquatics Diving World Cup Super Final. Meanwhile, Landi won the 1-meter and 3-meter at the French Junior National Championships and silver in the 3-meter at French Nationals.

Incoming freshman Ben Wilson is set to take part in the 1-meter competition. Wilson was the gold medalist in the 1-meter at the Australian National Championships and bronze in the 3-meter.

Auburn alumna Valerie Tarazi will represent Palestine in both the 50-meter breaststroke and 50-meter butterfly. Tarazi took home a trio of gold medals in the 50-meter and 100-meter breaststroke as well as the 50-meter butterfly at the Dubai International Aquatics Championships back in April.
