KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Four top 10 swims, plus a top 10 dive, kept both the Auburn men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams inside the top five after four days of competition at the 2026 SEC Championships inside the Allan Jones Aquatic Center.

With two days remaining, the men sit fifth with 462 points and the women remain fourth with 431.5 points.

The morning session kicked off with the women’s 100 fly. Morgan Carteaux (52.47) and Lora Komoroczy (52.53) each solidified places in the B final.

Komoroczy went 52.56 in the evening to move up to 11th place overall. Carteaux would hit the wall 13th with a 52.67.

On the men’s side, the Tigers stacked the B final with Abdalla Nasr (45.30), Sohib Khaled (45.46) and Bradford Johnson (46.03). Luke Bedsole also locked up a spot in the C final with a 46.31.

Nasr dialed up the swim of the season, becoming the first Auburn man to swim under 45 seconds since 2009. His 44.91 moved him to second on the all-time performers list in program history and placed the Egyptian ninth overall.

Khaled wasn’t too far behind Nasr, dialing up a season-best 45.25 for 12th. Johnson (46.23) grabbed 16th and Bedsole (46.31) secured 20th.

Mack Schumann and Luke Waldrep both dialed up solid performances in the 400 IM. Schumann slid easily into the B final with a 3:46.30, while Waldrep earned a second swim in the C final with a 3:49.47.

Even after a mile swim on Tuesday, Schumann had plenty in the tank to swim a personal-best 3:43.88 in finals to move all the way up to 14th. Waldrep took 23rd with a 3:53.16.

The women’s 200 free was led by sophomore Bella Ekk. Hitting the wall at 1:46.16, Ekk qualified for the B final. Wyllo Hanson (1:46.38) and Maggie McGuire (1:46.69) both made the C final.

Ekk (1:46.19) would finish 15th, Hanson (1:45.95) notched 20th and McGuire (1:46.65) grabbed 22nd.

Auburn’s lone A finalist in the pool came by the way of Daniel Krichevsky. A personal-best 1:32.12 earned the Israel native the fifth-best time in the morning. Danny Schmidt (1:34.07) earned a spot in the C final.

Krichevsky went even faster in the evening, clocking a 1:31.87 to finish 6th overall. Schmidt (1:34.65) finished in 21st.

Thursday marked the women’s turn to move over to the 3-meter. Freshman Juliette Landi continued her strong showing at her first SEC Championships. A 324.75 locked her in for the evening’s championship final.

Landi was dynamic in finals. In front of a raucous crowd, Landi put together six terrific dives to score a 351.65 and fifth overall. The score was also good enough to elevate her as the fifth-best performer in program history.

Both Maria Faoro (289.50) and Chloe Brothers (287.95) each grabbed second lists as well, securing spots in the consolation finals.

Faoro bettered her prelims score with a 291.55 to take 12th, with Brothers right behind in 13th at 285.60.

Rounding out the night with the 400 medley relay, Komoroczy, Zeller, Carteaux and Lisa Klevanovich combined for a 3:31.40 to place sixth.

Kalle Makinen, Uros Zivanovic, Nasr and Krichevsky, meanwhile, dialed up the second-fastest time in program history. A 3:02.09 gave the Tigers the fourth place overall.
