ATHENS, Ga. – Freshman Tsvetomir Ereminov pieced together a stellar finals performance on Platform to leapfrog to seventh place, earning the final ticket to Atlanta for the 2026 NCAA Championships.
After four days of competition inside the Gabrielsen Natatorium, head diving coach John Fox helped five student-athletes qualify for NCAAs. Juliette Landi (3-meter), Chloe Brothers (Platform), Emily Hallifax (Platform), Ethan Swart (1-meter) and Tsvetomir Ereminov (Platform) all earned a berth to compete for a national title in their respective events.
Prelims belonged to Talan Blackmon. The talented junior pieced together a 351.65 to sit ninth after the first six dives. Ethan Swart (343.30) sat in 14th and Eremoniv (339.65) was all the way back in 16th.
Undeterred by his prelims effort, Ereminov delivered a staggering 394.65, including an 84.80-point final dive to rocket up to seventh place to steal the last spot at the NCAA Championships.
Blackmon (709.10) would go on to finish in 11th, with Swart (685.45) in 15th.
The 2026 Women’s NCAA Championships are slated to begin on March 18 at historic McAuley Aquatic Center in Atlanta, Georgia. Head coach Ryan Wochomurka will have 10 total athletes competing.
Action at the 2026 Men’s NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships begins on March 25 at the same venue. Wochomurka and Co. will also have 10 athletes competing.
