AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn softball juniors Alyssa Hastings and SJ Geurin and sophomore Ella Harrison were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Softball Team on Tuesday.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District Softball Team, selected by CSC, recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom.
Hastings will advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. Academic All-America honorees will be announced on June 16. Auburn has now produced 19 CSC Academic All-District selections in program history. It was the first career selection for all three Tigers.
Concluding the season as an All-SEC performer, Hastings was Auburn’s most consistent hitter at the plate, leading the team with a .369 batting average, 55 hits, 12 doubles and 13 multi-hit games. Hastings posted a .584 slugging percentage, adding one triple and six home runs to go along with her doubles. The Huntsville, Alabama, native also drew 26 walks to build a .459 on-base percentage. She finished her first season on the Plains with 28 runs scored and 34 RBI. Starting all 55 games at shortstop, Hastings totaled 97 assists and 52 putouts. She is pursuing a degree in interdisciplinary studies.
Carrying the workload for the Tiger pitching staff this season, Harrison led the team with 11 victories and two saves while posting a 3.87 ERA. She made 37 appearances with 32 starts in the circle, tying for sixth-most in a single season in Auburn history. Her first season on the Plains was highlighted by three ranked victories, including a shutout of No. 4 Florida in Gainesville. She finished sixth in the SEC with 162.2 innings pitched and ranked 11th in the conference with 153 strikeouts. The Clarence, New York, native is pursuing a degree in exercise science.
In her second season as a Tiger, Geurin saw key action in the circle as both a starter and reliever. Making 22 appearances with 13 starts, Geurin earned five victories and one save. She struck out 36 batters across 72.1 innings of work and recorded two complete games. The Leander, Texas, native earned her undergraduate degree in psychology in May and will begin work toward her master’s degree.
