Was a top 25 finalist for NFCA Division I National Freshman of the Year … appeared in 33 games, earning 29 starts in her freshman season … earned 12 wins behind a 2.61 ERA … held the ninth lowest ERA by a Big Ten pitcher … tossed 18 complete games, ranking third in the Big Ten … recorded four shutouts, the seventh most in the Big Ten … tossed 177 innings in the circle and held opponents to a .225 batting average … allowed just 6.09 hits per seven innings, which was the 11th lowest mark in the Big Ten … struck out 213 batters, which set the program’s record for strikeouts in a season … she finished third in the Big Ten and 16th in the country in total strikeouts … averaged 8.4 strikeouts per game, which was good for fourth in the Big Ten and 23rd nationally … posted a 3.00 strikeout-to-walk ratio, the eighth best in the Big Ten … recorded a 1.27 WHIP … earned the program’s first NFCA National Pitcher of the Week honors (3/10) … tossed three shutouts, including her first collegiate no-hitter, at the Bob Heck Memorial Tournament … she gave up just six singles, struck out 34 and held opponents to a .095 batting average … at the Lion Invitational she held a 1.00 ERA and picked up three victories while recording 26 strikeouts over 21 innings of work
