AUBURN, Ala. – Coming off a season in which he made over 100 3-pointers and averaged 16.7 points, Adam Olsen has joined the Auburn men’s basketball team looking to make a splash at the SEC level in 2026-27.

A native of Surrecy, British Columbia, Canada, Olsen played his junior season at South Alabama and excelled during his first season at the Division I level.

While in Greece, Olsen averaged 13.0 points and 7.0 rebounds while making 6-of-14 from long range and looks to carry that production into the upcoming season.

Q&A With Adam Olsen:

Q: What was your favorite part about the Greece trip?

A: My favorite part about Greece was just being around the team, bonding, and there was never a dull moment. Everywhere we went, we were with the team and that really helps form those relationships. It doesn’t allow clicks to be formed, we are all one big click - everyone is one big team. I also loved going on the yacht. It was super fun. Having us all on there where we could be ourselves and form relationships, it was great.

Q: Take me through your first couple of months at Auburn. How’s it been going?

A: Auburn is an easy place to transition to because everyone is so supportive. The whole community is wrapped around the basketball team, and obviously the other programs too, but I really feel the love from the community, so it is a really easy place to get used to. You feel the vibes from everyone. You go to the grocery store wearing an Auburn shirt and someone is going to come up to you and say ‘Can’t wait to watch you,’ ‘Team is going to be great,’ so having all that support is an easy place to fit in.

Q: Describe your game to the fans:

A: My game is an exciting game. Lots of shots, lots of made 3s, helping teammates to get open and using my gravity to space the floor. I like to allow other players to succeed and not just myself, but definitely an exciting play style and you know, everyone loves a 3-ball.

Q: What are you most looking forward to this season?

A: I am looking forward to the environments we are going to play in and getting wins with this group. The coaches say this is a special group, but as a player on this team I really feel like this is a special and unique group. A lot of unselfish players. I just want to get wins and go deep in the tournament. Making Auburn proud with this special group is something I am looking forward to.
