As a Senior
Fall 2008: Finished the fall with a singles record of 8-2... Posted a 4-5 doubles record, playing with both Michel Monteiro (1-3) and Nick Maurillo (3-2)... Won the consolation singles title in the Joe Namath draw of the Crimson Tide Fall Invitational.

As a Junior
Fall 2007: Led Auburn with an 11-5 singles record in the fall while also posting a 7-4 doubles record... Competed at the Georgia Tech Invitational, South Carolina Classic, Arizona State Thunderbird Classic and the Auburn Fall Classic... Played teammate Terence Nugent in the 'B' finals at the Georgia Tech Invitational, losing 6-4, 6-3.
Spring 2008: Finished spring play with a singles record of 8-8, posting a 6-7 mark in dual match play, playing primaraly at the No. 6 position... Posted a 7-5 doubles record with a 2-2 slate in the SEC... Played primarily with Pawel Dilaj in doubles, but also saw action with Nick Maurillo and Milan Krnjetin... Defeated the No. 57 doubles team of Kevin Dessauer and Jan Zelezny of LSU (8-3)... Finished the season with a perfect 2-0 record when playing with Krnjetin... Recorded the match-winning point in three matches for Auburn, clinching the win against Troy, South Florida and Vanderbilt.

As a Sophomore
2006-07: Named second-team NAIA All-American... Posted a 17-4 singles record and a 22-5 doubles record as AUM went on to win the 2007 NAIA National Championship.

As a Freshman (at AUM)
2005-06: Named first-team NAIA All-American... Posted a 14-3 singles record and a 17-2 doubles record as AUM went on to win the 2006 NAIA National Championship.

Prior to AUM
Was a member of the Australian Junior Davis Cup team... Twice competed in the Junior Australian Open... Ranked in the top 100 in the World in the ITF singles and doubles.

Born Alexander Petropoulos to Maria and Theo Petropoulos on Dec. 2, 1986... Has two brothers, Danny (18) and Nicholas (14)... Majoring in finance... Chose Auburn for the chance to play in the SEC... Favorite food is steak... Is from Australia, but family is of Greek heritage... If he were not playing tennis, he would be playing soccer... Hopes to someday work in finance.
