2007 (SOPHOMORE): Went 7-1 with a 3.06 ERA ... ERA was the lowest of any starting pitcher on the AU staff ... Led Auburn in wins (7), was second in innings (67.2) and was tied for the team lead in strikeouts (54) despite missing the final four series of the season ... Seven wins was the most by an AU pitcher since Arnold Hughey in 2005 (8) ... Moved into the Friday-night starter role against Ole Miss, AU[apos]s third SEC series of the season ... Was 3-1 with a 2.32 ERA, striking out 26 while walking just 10 as the Friday night starter ... Threw a complete game at LSU on Apr. 5 ... It was the first complete game by an Auburn pitcher since Josh Sullivan went the distance against VMI on March 12, 2005 in a 12-0 Auburn win ... It was also the first complete game in SEC play for the Tigers since Arnold Hughey did it at Alabama on April 17, 2004 in a 7-1 AU win ... SUMMER 2006: Played for the Winchester Royals of the Shenandoah Valley League ... Finished the year leading the league in strikeouts (55), was second with a 1.70 ERA, third with a .198 opponent batting average and fourth in innings pitched at 58.1 ... Allowed just 11 ER on the year and finished with a WHIP of 0.99 (41 H, 17 BB) ... Threw a no-hitter in his first outing of the summer.

2006 (FRESHMAN): Used primarily as a middle relief man before earning the starting nod in the final two series of the season ... Had a team-best 3.48 ERA in league play ... Put together a string of 25.1 IP [8 APP] in league play without allowing an earned run from 3/25-5/5 ... During those eight appearances, held the opposition to a .151 batting average, surrendering just 13 hits ... Also went 13.1 IP (4/2-19) in all games without allowing a run ... Allowed just two of 18 inherited runners to score and retired 12 of the first 16 batters he faced in relief appearances, earning three holds ... Had a 2.78 ERA when coming on in relief ... Did not allow a run in 11 of his 16 relief appearances ... Held opponents to a .192 average (15-for-78) with runners on ... Struckout at least one in all but four outings.
