Nilson oversees strength and conditioning for Auburn’s Olympic sports and serves as the primary performance coach for men's and women's tennis. A former collegiate softball player with a Master’s in Kinesiology, she joined the Tigers following leadership roles at UNC and NC State. Highly credentialed with SCCC, CSCS, and TPI certifications, she leads comprehensive athletic development and manages the department's internship and educational initiatives.

Davis oversees all strength and conditioning programming for Auburn Men’s Basketball, developing and implementing training plans that support player development, durability, and readiness for competition. His approach focuses on preparing student-athletes for peak performance at the collegiate level and beyond.

Joyner joined the Auburn baseball staff prior to the 2019 season following a 16-year career in professional baseball, most recently serving as the Major League strength and conditioning coordinator for the Toronto Blue Jays and Milwaukee Brewers. A native of Reddick, Florida, and a graduate of Minnesota State University, Mankato, he has trained 18 All-Stars, a National League Rookie of the Year, and American League MVP Josh Donaldson. Joyner is responsible for the physical development and high-performance programming for the Tigers' baseball student-athletes, leveraging a track record that includes multiple MLB postseason appearances and two decades of experience with the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

Hong Tran is in her first season as Director of Sports Performance for Auburn women's basketball, joining the staff in May 2025 after two seasons in the same role at SMU. Prior to SMU, she spent three seasons at Cincinnati, where she launched the "Built By Hong" performance model, and four seasons at Western Kentucky, where she helped lead women's basketball and soccer to Conference USA championships. Tran holds a master's in sport administration from Saint Leo University and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and USAW Level 1 Sports Performance Coach.

Matt Smith is the Assistant Director of Olympic Sports Performance at Auburn, where he has spent over a decade developing research-based strength and conditioning programs for men's and women's golf and soccer, contributing to multiple SEC championships and the 2024 NCAA Championship for men's golf. Prior to his current role, he served as a Graduate Assistant Sports Performance Coach at Auburn, where he worked with track and field, whose men's team finished as high as fifth at the NCAA Outdoor Championships.

Jack Krueger serves as Assistant Director of Sports Performance for Auburn Track and Field and Cross Country, joining the staff in September 2025 and also overseeing the Olympic Sports Performance internship program. He comes to Auburn from Boise State, where he worked with Track and Field and Beach Volleyball, and holds a bachelor's in Exercise Science from Ottawa University and a master's in Leadership Education with a sport management emphasis from Winona State University.

Logan Powell serves as Assistant Director of Sports Performance for Auburn Women's Volleyball and Softball, joining the staff in September 2025 and also overseeing the Graduate Assistant Program for the Sports Performance staff. He comes to Auburn from Ohio State, where he worked primarily with volleyball and softball, and holds a bachelor's in Health and Human Performance from Emporia State University.

Cole Weiss serves as an Assistant Sports Performance/Sport Scientist for Baseball, assisting with the strength and conditioning program for Auburn Baseball. A former college baseball player at Denison University, he holds a bachelor's in Health, Exercise, and Sport Studies from Denison and is currently pursuing a master's in Kinesiology with a concentration in Biomechanics at Auburn.

Clapham serves as an Assistant Sports Performance Coach, overseeing the strength and conditioning program for Auburn Cheer while assisting with multiple Olympic sport programs. A graduate of Appalachian State University, she holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Exercise Science and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Prior to Auburn, Clapham served as a Graduate Assistant Sports Performance Coach at Appalachian State and completed an internship with EXOS.

Phipps serves as an Assistant Sports Performance Coach, overseeing all aspects of performance training for Auburn Men’s and Women’s Dive while assisting with multiple Olympic sport programs. A graduate of Clemson University and Georgia Southern University, he holds a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and a master’s degree in Sport Management and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Prior to Auburn, Phipps spent two years at Georgia Southern working with multiple sport programs after beginning his coaching career at Clemson.

Pembleton serves as an Assistant Sports Scientist for Strength & Conditioning, supporting student-athlete performance through sports science technology, performance testing, data analysis, and return-to-play monitoring. A graduate of the University of Cincinnati and Youngstown State University, he holds a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and a master’s degree in Health and Human Services. Prior to Auburn, Pembleton spent three years at Youngstown State, progressing from Graduate Assistant to Assistant Director of Football Sports Performance and Director of Sports Science.
