2024 – FRESHMAN SEASON
Played in 14 games and made 13 starts at catcher … hit .273 and reached base at a .455 clip … drew 11 free passes (eight walks, three HBPs) and struck out just five times … totaled eight runs, nine hits, including a double, and five RBI … 10 of his starts came in SEC play, when he hit .231 with a .394 OBP … made his first career appearance and start vs. Wichita State (Feb. 24) and went 1-for-2 with three walks … made his first SEC start at Texas A&M (Mar. 30) … drove in a pair of runs vs. Kentucky (Apr. 11) … went a combined 5-for-8 with three runs and two RBI in back-to-back games vs. Georgia Tech (Apr. 16) and at Mississippi State (Apr. 19) … all five of his RBI came in a span of four games from Apr. 11-16 … turned in a .991 fielding percentage behind the plate and threw out three base stealers ... 2023-24 SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll.
HIGH SCHOOL
Attended North Oconee High School (GA) … rated by Perfect Game as a top-300 player in the class, including the No. 35 overall player and No. 1 catcher in Georgia … 2023 Region 8-AAAA Player of the Year and First Team All-State … hit .474 as a senior … hit .647 with eight RBI while also striking out six in 5.2 innings in the 2023 playoffs … recorded the final nine outs on the mound in the state championship game … two-time state champion (2022-23).

Son of Cheri and Scott Stricklin … has two siblings, Sydney and Keaton … his dad has been a head baseball coach at Georgia (2014-23) and Kent State (2005-13) and an assistant coach at Georgia Tech (2002-04) and Vanderbilt (2000-01) … born in Atlanta, Georgia, on June 14, 2005.
