Ryan Jenkins is beginning his second year on staff with the Auburn baseball program and his first year as strength and conditioning coach.

Jenkins was drafted by the Kansas City Royals in the 17th round in 2010. He went on to play in the Royals' minor league system from 2010-12. Jenkins returned to Auburn in 2013 to complete his degree and served as a student assistant coach during the 2014 season.

The Millbrook, Ala. native was a four-year letter winner with the Tigers from 2006-10 as a catcher. He was named to the All-SEC team in 2010 after hitting .365 with seven home runs and 34 RBI while making 48 starts behind the plate.
