2011 - REDSHIRT SENIOR YEAR
Was given a medical redshirt after undergoing surgery in February ... Starting left fielder in three games (2-1) and seven-hole hitter in four games (3-1) ... Hit .182 (2-for-11) with two RBI ... Made one mound appearance before undergoing Tommy John surgery ... Was the starting DH against UAB (2/20) and was 0-for-1 with two walks and a run scored before coming in to get the final four outs on the mound, earning his first career save ... Entered with Auburn up, 4-0, and runners on first and second with two outs in the eighth ... Induced an inning-ending ground out and then struck out two of the five hitters he faced in the ninth, also issuing a walk and hitting a batter ... Was 1-for-3 with two RBI in the season-opening win over Arkansas State (2/18).
2010 - JUNIOR YEAR
Hit .323 with four doubles, a triple, five home runs and 32 RBI, scoring 27 runs ... Auburn was 22-4 in games in which he started ... Hit safely in 21 of the 26 games he started ... Laid down five sac bunts ... Played all three infield positions as well as left field ... Hit .429 with 14 RBI in SEC play ... Hit .429 in four NCAA Regional games (three starts) with three RBI and three runs scored, ending the year on a four-game hitting streak ... Start on June 6 vs. Southern Miss was his first since April 7 when he left the 6-2 win over South Alabama in the second after a HBP on his left hand ... X-rays reveled a broken bone ... Returned as a pinch hitter in the win over Jacksonville State (5/18) ... Went 2-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in the 22-7 win over Georgia State (4/6), giving him home runs in three consecutive games in which he played ... Was 3-for-5 with two home runs in the series at Alabama (4/2-4)... Homered in his last at bat on Friday and his first at bat on Sunday (didn[apos]t play on Saturday) against the Crimson Tide ... Had a huge Friday night at Georgia (3/19), collecting a double and his first two career home runs, driving in eight runs in the 20-3 win ...
