Turned in a .272/.460/.625 slash line in 43 games, including 41 starts … led the team in on-base percentage and ranked second in slugging … scored 37 runs with 37 hits, six doubles, 14 homers and 49 RBI … was second on the team in home runs and third in RBI … drew a team-high 45 walks … drove in multiple runs in 14 games, tied for the second most on the team … was third on the team with a .310 average in SEC play … ranked top five in the league in OBP (.469), SLG (.750), walks (25) and RBI (35) during SEC play while ranking tied for eighth with 11 home runs … went 1-for-4 with a run in his Auburn debut vs. Indiana (Feb. 17) … collected three hits, including his first homer, vs. Southern Cal (Feb. 25) … scored and drove in three runs in the contest … homered for the second time in three games vs. Florida A&M (Mar. 1) … did not appear in a game from Mar. 5-22 but hit .344 (21-for-61) with 17 runs, four doubles, 10 homers and 30 RBI in 21 games and 19 starts after his return … drove in multiple runs in back-to-back games vs. Georgia (Mar. 25) and North Alabama (Mar. 28) … reached base three times in all three games at Florida (Mar. 31-Apr. 2) … homered in the series finale against the Gators … went 3-for-10 with a double, two homers and eight RBI in the series vs. Texas A&M (Apr. 6-7) … collected his first multi-homer game in the middle game against the Aggies … homered in four consecutive games from Apr. 18-23 … went 4-for-9 with five runs, four homers and eight RBI in the series vs. Mississippi State (Apr. 23) … homered off both foul poles in the series finale against the Bulldogs … became the first Auburn player to homer in three straight SEC games since 2010 … was named the SEC Player of the Week for his efforts … drove in multiple runs in five straight games from Apr. 22-29, totaling 14 RBI during the span … collected his third multi-homer game in a span of 10 SEC games at South Carolina (Apr. 29) … became the first player since 2010 to homer multiple times in three SEC games … went 3-for-4 with three RBI, including the run-rule walk-off, in the decisive game three vs. top-ranked LSU (May 7) … homered and drove in a season-high five runs in the series finale at Ole Miss (May 13) … hit his 14th home run of the season vs. Missouri (May 19) …reached base four times in the two regional games (June 2-3) … turned in a .993 fielding percentage at first base.

2022 – REDSHIRT FRESHMAN SEASON AT KANSAS
Played in 42 games and made 33 starts at first base … turned in a .248/.374/.540 slash line with six doubles, nine homers and 19 RBI … ranked second on the team in homers and third in walks (23) … hit a pinch-hit RBI double in his first career at-bat against Illinois (Feb. 18) … hit his first career homer at New Orleans (Feb. 27) … reached base in a season-best 11 straight games from Feb. 26-Mar. 20 … became the first Kansas player to homer in three straight games since 2015 from Apr. 27-30, totaling four homers during the span … named Academic All-Big 12 Second Team.

2021 – FRESHMAN SEASON AT KANSAS
Did not see action and took a redshirt.

HIGH SCHOOL
Attended Bishop Kelly High School (OK) … rated by Perfect Game and Prep Baseball Report as the No. 1 first baseman in Oklahoma … three-time All-District First Team honoree … led Bishop Kelly to the 2018 Oklahoma 5A State Championship … played four years of football as a tight end.

Son of Kurston and Paige McMurray … has two brothers, Jake and Tanner … born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on Dec. 19, 2001.
