Emily Daniels is in her third season as the primary sports dietitian for Auburn Men's and Women's Basketball.
She previously served as Director of Sports Nutrition at Salt Lake Community College, where she helped create the sports nutrition program through grant funding from the Dairy Council. There, Daniels worked with the men’s and women’s basketball, volleyball and soccer programs.
Prior to her full-time role at SLCC, she completed a dietetic internship with the Bruins' men's basketball team, who where ranked as high as No. 3 in the country, before COVID cancelled the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) tournament.
Originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, Daniels became a sports dietitian in fall of 2020. She earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Utah in 2013 and later her master's degree in nutrition and integrative physiology with an emphasis in sports nutrition in 2020.
