Hunter Veach joined the Auburn softball staff as a manager in the fall of 2015 and was then promoted to interim volunteer assistant prior to the start of the 2016 spring season. He has since resumed his role as a manager.

Veach comes to Auburn after spending three years as a volunteer assistant coach at Auburn-Montgomery. The Selma, Ala. native was instrumental in the Warhawks' success helping lead the program to two NAIA National Championships in 2014 and 2015. Both times AUM won the national championship, the coaching staff earned accolades as the NAIA Softball National Coaching Staff of the Year.

While in Montgomery, Veach helped coach four NAIA All-Americans and tutored Cassie Jones who was named the 2015 NAIA Player of the Year. Auburn-Montgomery team went 45-12, 44-7 and 46-8 advancing to the NAIA Softball World Series all three seasons (2013-15) Veach spent at AUM.

A graduate of Morgan Academy, Veach is currently working on his degree in Kinesiology. His sister, Kendall, is a freshman on the Auburn softball team.
