Auburn softball has named Megan Reynolds as the Director of Operations for the softball program, heading into the 2016-17 season. Reynolds comes to The Plains after spending two years in the compliance office at Grand Canyon University where she monitored athletics personnel and student-athletes to ensure compliance with NCAA rules and regulations.

Reynolds served on the Arizona State staff as an administrative assistant from 2012-13. While working for the Sun Devils, Reynolds held responsibilities with scheduling events, booster club relations, team travel and meals, on-campus recruiting visits and equipment.

During the fall of 2013, Reynolds began her role at Grand Canyon while pursuing a master’s degree.

Previous to her time in the desert, Reynolds held several roles at Creighton University, where she attended college.

Reynolds was a walk-on for the Bluejays, but moved into a student assistant role after suffering a career-ending injury. In her four years as a coach, Creighton went 140-84 and reached two NCAA Tournaments, highlighted by a Missouri Valley Conference Championship in 2010.

Reynolds got her start in athletics as a marketing intern from 2007-2011, handling promotional activities at select Creighton athletic events.

Reynolds was promoted to Director of Operations for the 2012.

An Omaha, Neb. native, Reynolds received her bachelor’s degree from Creighton in Journalism, Public Relations and Advertising in 2011 and was awarded a master’s degree in Leadership from Grand Canyon University in 2015.
