Haley Rainey enters her second season as a graduate manager for Auburn softball. She joined the staff in August 2025.
Rainey transferred to the Plains to compete in the 2025 season, finishing her collegiate career in an Auburn uniform. She made 40 appearances for the Tigers last season, earning seven victories and one save while finishing second on the team with 60 strikeouts.
The Ada, Washington, native spent the 2023 and 2024 seasons at Cal State Fullerton, where she was a two-time All-Big West selection and the 2024 Big West Pitcher of the Year. In her two seasons with the Titans, Rainey earned 28 wins behind a 1.62 ERA. She struck out 246 batters over her two seasons at Fullerton.
She began her collegiate career at Idaho State. She earned 2022 Big Sky Freshman of the Year honors as well as being named to the 2022 All-Big Sky Second Team. Rainey earned 14 wins and ranked fifth in the Big Sky with a 3.46 ERA.
Rainey completed her undergraduate degree in interdisciplinary studies with an emphasis in psychology in August 2025 and is now pursuing her graduate studies.
