No stranger to the SEC, Kenleigh Cahalan joined Auburn softball as a graduate manager in August of 2026.
Cahalan spent two seasons at Florida, earning NFCA All-Gulf Region and All-SEC Second Team honors in 2026. As the Gators' starting shortstop last season, she posted career highs with a .377 batting average, 77 hits, 17 doubles, 17 home runs, 68 RBI and 77 runs scored while leading the Gators with 113 assists. She also earned CSC Academic All-America Second Team honors and was named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll.
She started 64 games at third base as a junior in 2025, batting .302 with 10 home runs, 40 RBI and 43 runs scored while leading the team with 121 assists. She earned NFCA Player of the Week honors during the season after a stretch that included her first career grand slam and a career-high six RBI.
She began her collegiate career at Alabama, starting all 126 games over the 2023 and 2024 seasons, primarily at shortstop. As a freshman, she opened her career with a 14-game hitting streak and earned NFCA All-South Region Third Team honors while being named a top-25 finalist for the TUCCI/NFCA Division I National Freshman of the Year award. She followed with All-SEC Second Team honors as a sophomore in 2024.
Cahalan was selected by the Portland Cascade with the 17th overall pick in the fourth round of the 2026 Athletes Unlimited Softball League College Draft. She was also one of 17 NCAA seniors to receive an AUSL Golden Ticket, guaranteeing her selection in the draft.
She graduated cum laude from Florida in August 2026 with a bachelor’s degree in education sciences.
