AUBURN, Ala. – Head coach Ryan Wochomurka and the Auburn Swim and Dive team return to the pool deck for the first time in 2023-24, competing in the SMU Classic and taking on Louisville over the weekend.

Both events are slated for Oct. 6-7. The SMU Classic is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. CT on Friday while the bout with Louisville is set to begin at 4:30 p.m. CT. Fans can follow along with both competitions on Meet Mobile.

The last time Orange and Blue fans saw the Tigers in action was at the 2023 National Championships. Both the women and men proved Auburn is back on the right track under Wochomurka.

Back on the scoreboard at NCAAs, the women piled up 14 total team points in Knoxville a season ago, good enough for 26th place and the team's highest finish since 2019. Wochomurka returns Meghan Lee, Anastasia Makarova, Polina Nevmovenko, Hannah Ownbey, Averee Preble and Ellie Waldrep, all of whom earned All-America honors a season ago.

The Auburn men had Tiger fans in a Frenzy at NCAAs in Minneapolis last March. Powered by stellar relay performances and record-setting swims, Wochomurka's squad compiled 127 points, its most since 2017 and the 10th-place finish was its best since 2016.

Auburn stacked up 28 All-American honors in Minnesota from 12 different student-athletes. Among the All-Americans returning in 2023-24 include Michael Bonson, Ryan Husband, Kalle Makinen, Mason Mathias, Evan McInerny, Danny Schmidt, Aidan Stoffle, Nate Stoffle and Logan Tirheimer.

Wochomurka has also bolstered this season's roster with a dynamic freshmen class of 20 newcomers.

This weekend also marks the debut of new head diving coach John Fox. After an illustrious career in the club ranks, Fox takes the helm on the Plains.
