AUBURN, Ala. – Head coach Ryan Wochomurka and the Auburn Tigers will kick off the 2025-26 campaign with the annual Orange and Blue intrasquad meet on Friday, Oct. 3 inside James E. Martin Aquatics Center.
The meet is slated to begin at 3 p.m. CT, doors will open at 2 p.m., and admission is free. Diving events will occur simultaneously with swimming.
Fans of the Orange and Blue will get their first look at this year’s roster, which features a potent mix of veteran returners and exciting new additions to the Plains.
On the women’s side, Wochomurka and head diving coach John Fox welcome back six NCAA Championships qualifiers in Morgan Carteaux, Audrey Crawford, Elizaveta Klevanovich, Lora Komoroczy, Julia Strojnowska and Emily Hallifax.
Last season, the group accounted for 10 top-10 performances in program history. Komoroczy’s 51.21 in the 100 back at the SEC Championships moved the Hungarian to No. 2 all-time in school history. Hallifax equaled the effort in the diving well, scaring Vennie Dentin’s school record on platform at the AU Diving Invite, ultimately delivering a 318.30 for the second-highest score in program history.
No one had a better 2024-25 season than Danny Schmidt. The German native returns for his senior campaign after setting the school record in the 200 fly (1:40.43), and moving to second in the 200 IM (1:41.42), 400 IM (3:40.29) and 200 free (1:31.80).
Fox returns junior Talan Blackmon, who qualified for his first NCAA Championships a season ago. Blackmon also moved into the top 10 in school history in both the 1-meter (10th) and 3-meter (9th).
Twenty-one student-athletes have also made Auburn their new home this fall. Georgia Tech transfer Uroz Zivanovic arrives with NCAA Championships experience and competed at several high-level international competitions this past summer. Finland native Kiia Metsakonkola also arrives with an impressive international resume. Fellow freshman Daniel Krichevsky broke several Israeli national records at the World Championships in Singapore this summer.
On the diving side, Fox has added Olympian Juliette Landi, Brazilian National Team member Maria Faoro and Australian National Team member Ben Wilson. Collectively, Auburn divers cashed in on 10 international medals across the summer.
Auburn officially begins its season on Friday, Oct. 10 at the prestigious SMU Invite in Dallas, Texas.
