Prior to Auburn: Graduated from Valleydale Christian Academy with numerous academic achievements. Competed on the Appaloosa circuit and was a finalist at the World Championship Show. Finished top 10 in the nation in 2011 and was the 14-18 year end high point winner in Alabama.
