Elizabeth Benson entires her first year as the graduate assistant for Auburn following a decorated career as a member of the Tiger team.

Benson capped her prolific career as the most successful Hunt Seat rider in Auburn history, finishing on top of five records lists - Fences Career Meets (65), Fences Career Wins (52), Flat Career Meets (64), Flat Career Wins (46), Flat Single Season Wins (17).

As a member of the successful 2015-16 senior class, she guided the Tigers to the program's first Southeastern Conference title and it's fourth NCEA National title. As a senior, she was named a two-time First Team All-American (Flat & Fences) and was placed on the NCEA All-Championship Team. In addition, Benson was awarded the NCEA Championship MOP in Flat. At the conference level, she was honored as the SEC Flat Co-Rider of the Year and was placed on both the Flat and Fences All-SEC teams.

Overall, Benson concluded her collegiate career as a five-time All-American and a six-time All-SEC performer. She finished with a 52-13-0 mark in Fences with 14 MOPs, while totaling a 46-15-0 record in Flat with 12 MOPs.

Aside from her athletic success, Benson also exceled in the classroom. She finished as a two-time NCEA Scholastic All-American and was four-time SEC Academic Honor Roll honoree.

Benson graduated from Auburn in the spring of 2016 and is currently working towards her Master's in Business Administration from the Raymond J. Harbert College of Business.
